And this is only since I started using MyFitnessPal. I'm down a total of 29 pounds!!!!!
I've been using www.myfitnesspal.com to track my calories and keep up with how many calories I burn when I exercise. A mobile app I've been using, www.endomondo.com, is great for tracking walking, running, etc. If your phone is GPS capable, it will actually track your route and show you on a map where you've been. It also tracks time, distance and speed and will tell you how many calories you burnt doing your exercise.
Without these tools and the help and motivation of Dr. Allison, Henriette, Amber, LeeOnna, Jules and Jenn (I'm sure there are more, so if I forgot you, don't hate me...), I would not be successful. A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE SUPPORTED ME AND MOTIVATED ME!!!
It's hard to lose weight on your own! I find myself fighting temptation everyday... especially at work when they have the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies as I leave. They smell sooooo good but I have to refrain! I'm a good girl! I got this!!!
Also, an update on C25k... yeah, that's a no go so far. I've found out that I am way to out of shape to start a running program like that. I didn't like the way I felt after attempting to do it the first time. It is still a goal and I am working towards it, at my own pace. I will get there. I have to lose some more of this weight and build up my endurance more. I WILL RUN A 5K!!! It's just a matter of time!
